Kovacic was an FTC Commissioner from January 2006 to October 2011, and served as Chairman of the agency from March 2008 to March 2009. Kovacic previously was the FTC’s General Counsel from 2001 through 2004, and also worked for the agency from 1979 until 1983. Currently, Bill Kovacic is teaching at the George Washington University’s Law School in USA. He has recently been awarded the 2011 Miles Kirkpatrick Award for Lifetime FTC Achievement.
