NRG-II Meeting

The NRG-II meeting in The Philippines was held on May 22, 2014 in Makati City. The meeting was jointly organised with the country partners, Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) and Action for Economic Reforms (AER).
The findings of the Diagnostic Country Report (DCR) – the output of Phase I (Diagnostic Phase) was presented in this meeting. The idea was to share the findings with the National Reference Group (NRG) members and get their inputs on the same.
The outline of the ‘Framework for Competition Reforms’ (FCR) – the output of Phase II (Design Phase), was also be presented in the meeting. This outline was developed from the understanding and evidence gathered during the preparation of the DCR. This marks the beginning of the Phase II.
