A National Conference was organised by Consumer Unity & Trust Society (CUTS) and Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) on
Promoting Responsible Business Conduct in Pharmaceutical and Private Healthcare sectors in India held on Monday, 8th October 2012 in New Delhi
. One of the main objectives of this conference was to highlight key policy and practice reforms to enable proper uptake of responsible business behaviour in pharmaceutical and private healthcare sector.
The conference was an occasion to share the findings of the BRCC project and identify critical elements for enabling better business in these two sectors through the engagement of multiple stakeholders, including the government department, regulators, business association, academia and civil society.
