The CUTS-CIRC Biennial Competition Regulation and Development Conference series started in 2007. Since then, such Conference has been organised every two years. This year 8th Biennial Conference was organised in collaboration with BRICS Competition Law & Policy Centre, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and European University Institute (EUI) on October 09-10, in New Delhi. The theme for 8th Biennial was chosen as “Prioritising Socially Sensitive Sectors.” In socially sensitive sectors ‘equity’ is as important as ‘investment’ and ‘efficiency’.

Through the 8th edition, this international conference enters its 16th year and as always, it promises to bring together a unique set of expert stakeholders from across the globe. Speakers from 28 countries graced the conference.
