She has advised new antitrust jurisdictions, emerging economies, and common markets, including South Africa, Indonesia, the Central and Eastern European nations, Egypt, Tanzania, The Gambia, and COMESA. She is the reputed author of many books and articles dealing with competition law and policy and economic development. She holds a law degree from the New York University School of Law and an honorary doctorate from the University of Paris – Dauphine.
