Officially launched in February 2008, CUTS Hanoi Resource Centre (CUTS HRC) is a member of Consumer Unity and Trust Society (CUTS International), an international research, advocacy and networking group headquartered in India.

Areas of priority of CUTS HRC’s research and advocacy activities include: competition & regulation, consumer protection, and trade & economics.

Mission:

To be a catalyst in transferring objective knowledge and advocacy skills to the Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) towards the development process

Objectives:

  • To be an initiator of dialogue towards effective public policy reforms in the larger framework of poverty alleviation and sustainable development;
  • To promote exchange of knowledge and advocacy skills through making international good practices available in the ASEAN; and
  • To strengthen effective regional and international integration, with a special emphasis on South-South cooperation.
