The overall objective of the “Cartel Case Study” includes:
- Identify legal and practical difficulties in proving existence of cartel
- Look at experiences of some foreign jurisdictions to find out how they have been tackling similar difficulties/situations.
- Derive appropriate learnings for the CCI, in the light of provisions contained in the Competition Act 2002 and experiences in other jurisdictions.
