CUTS International organised a two day international conference on ‘Competition Policy, Private Sector Development and Poverty Reduction in Africa’, as the culmination of a two year research based advocacy project, popularly referred to as the 7Up3 Project, on 29-30 March 2007, Mauritius The conference was co-hosted by the Ministry of Industry, SMEs, Commerce & Cooperatives, Government of Mauritius with the support of the Department for International Development (DFID), UK and the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD), Norway.
