Capacity Building on Electricity Reforms in Bangladesh, India and Nepal (RESA Project)’Local Inception Workshops in Bangladesh, India and Nepal’

One Local Inception Workshop (LIW) was organised in each project territory (Dhaka, Bangladesh; Rajasthan and West Bengal, India; and Kathmandu, Nepal) during the month of April 2008. The objective of organising the LIW was to involve the local partners i.e. second tier partner organisations that the respective project country partners would associate with to conduct activities at the grassroots level. The project implementation details were disseminated at the said workshops.

Participants at the workshops comprised of representatives from the partner organisations, members of the Project Reference Group (PRG), academia, government officials and media persons
