The meetings are being organised in order to examine existing challenges facing uptake of responsible business practices in the pharmaceutical sector in four BRCC project states: Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and West Bengal and initiate a discussion to address them. Through these meetings Consumer Unity & Trust Society (CUTS) and key actors in each of these states would try to comprehend difficulties faced by the pharmaceutical firms in becoming more responsible entities. Understanding these limitations would allow preparation of a roadmap for promotion of better business in the sector at the state level.
