RESA REGIONAL CONFERENCE
April 09-10, 2010, Kolkata, West Bengal, India
CUTS International with support from Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD) organised the Regional Conference to mark the culmination of the RESA pilot project. The conference was organised to share the experience gained during the implementation of the project to a larger audience and to sustain the initiative through strengthening the regional network.
About 70 participants comprising policy makers, regulators, ex-regulators, academia, civil society organisations, service providers, media etc. from different Asian countries participated in the Conference. The conference provided them with a platform to engage in the discourse on consumer participation in the regulatory reform process in the electricity sector in South East Asia.
