Regional Training Workshop on competition laws (Francophone countries)
16-18 December 2009, Lome (Togo)
A 3-day training workshop on competition law enforcement was organised by CUTS between 16th to 18th December 2009 in Lome, capital of Togo. Representatives from competition authorities, government agencies and select civil society organisations (7Up4 country partners) participated in this training workshop. Experts and practitioners on competition issues provided training on various elements of competition law to the participants, combining theoretical knowledge with hands on analysis of competition cases.
Around 20-25 trainees from Burkina Faso, Mali, Togo, Senegal and Benin were trained on competition enforcement issues that would equip them with skills to better enforce their national competition legislations
