Five training workshops would be organised at the state level by CUTS with support of the local partners. The respective cities are:
- New Delhi
The purpose of the workshops is to create and build capacity and awareness among consumer organisations regarding issues pertaining to broadband services (quality and accessibility) and to sensitise them (15-20 participants). It is also envisaged that as an outcome of the workshops, a cadre of consumer organisations would be created who would be in a position to better comprehend issues and be able to advocate the need for quality label for broadband services and also build the capacity of other consumer groups at the state level. The project partners would be responsible for submission of the report of the workshops to CUTS.
Further, in order to map the change in level of awareness, understanding among the participants in the training programme and also to evaluate the effectiveness of the training programme, a Pre-Post Questionnaire would be designed by the project team to receive feedback from the participants. These feedbacks would be summarised and incorporated in the workshop reports.
